DISCOVER MALLORCA WITH FELIP CARBONELL AND NÚRIA AGUILO

We are pleased to present an evening of Mallorcan food, music, dance and culture, with Felip Carbonell and Núria Aguilo. The event takes place in the Yeats Building, Sligo, on Friday, February 17th at 8pm.

Felip Carbonell has been a Sligo resident for almost two decades now, and for most of that time he has been a central part of the Sligo music scene, though his roots are in Mallorca where he was born and grew up.

Núria Aguilo is an English teacher from Mallorca, and is spending a year out from her job to enjoy living in her second favourite place - Ireland. She enjoys both Irish and Mallorcan traditional music, and also does Mallorcan dance.

Felip and Núria will give us an introduction to their vibrant, fascinating island through its music, dance, food and history.

Admission is €5 (€3 for students or the unemployed), and this includes wine and tapas.
