ELEMENTARY COURSE, AUTUMN 2018, CLASS 6
This week we talked about a new verb tense called El Perfecto. The equivalent in English is I have eaten, I have walked, I have talked, etc.
In Spanish, we form it with the verb HABER conjugated according to the person plus the main verb in past participle.
Yo he – I have
Tú has – you have
El/ella ha - he/she has
Nosotros hemos – We have
Vosotros habéis – You have (plural)
Ellos/ellas han – They have
The past participle is formed by dropping off the ending of the infinitive and adding –ado or –ido.
Hablar – hablado
Visitar – visitado
Comer – comido
Beber – bebido
Vivir – vivido
Ser – sido
Ir - ido
And we leant some irregular verbs:
Escribir – escrito
Abrir – Abierto
Hacer – hecho
Yo he visitado Italia – I have visited Italy
He hecho fotografías – I have taken pictures.
Nosotros hemos comido pizza y pasta – We have eaten pizza and pasta
Hemos estado en El Vaticano – We have been to the Vatican City.
In the second part of the class, we revised some jobs in Spanish and we did a brainstorming.
Bombero – plumber
Granjero – farmer
Profesor – teacher
M’edico – doctor
Enfermera – nurse
Piloto – pilot
Dentista – dentist
