PRE-INTERMEDIATE COURSE, SPRING 2018, CLASS 5

In this class we looked at complaining about problems in a hotel

alojamiento - accommodation 
quejas - complaints
quejarse - to complain
una bombilla - a bulb
una toalla - a towel
una almohada - a pillow

está roto - it is broken
la ventana está rota - the window is broken

está mojado - it is wet
gotear - to drip
una gota - a drop
mojar - to wet
secar - to dry

un radiador - a radiator
una bañera - a bathtub

No estoy contento/a - I am not happy
La voy a reparar en seguida - I will repair it straight away
lo voy a arreglar ahora mismo - I am going to fix it right now



We looked at Spanish object pronouns and their position in sentences...
In English, "it" comes after the verb
I ate it.

In Spanish, it must come before the verb...
Lo comí.
