INTERMEDIATE COURSE, 2018, CLASS 6


In this class we listened to an extract about markets…
Acudir – to show up, attend
Mezclar – to mix with
We revised some vocab from last week
Zoco – souk
Una mascarilla – a mask
Un pozo – a well

We then went on to learn about the subjunctive..
To form the subjunctive, we use the first person of the present tense, and add the endings
AR – e, es, e, emos, eis, en
IR/ER – a, as, a, amos, ais, an
In other words, we give the AR endings to IR and ER verbs, and vice versa….




Eg. Tener – tengo –
Es importante que tenga, tengas, tenga etc…

We use the subjunctive with impersonal expressions….- any expression with “es __________ que…”

Es importante que….
Es natural que….
Es posible que
Es difícil que…. – it is unlikely that
Es fácil que…. – it is likely that….
Es probable que….
Etc….
