¿Cuándo te casaste? – when did you get married?
¿Cuándo naciste? – when were you born?
¿Dónde fuiste a la escuela? – where did you go to school?

We listened to an extract about the Spanish Royal Family
El Rey – the king
La Reina – the Queen
El Príncipe
La princesa, la infanta – the princess
El palacio – the palace
La vela – sailing

We then corrected two readings
Terremoto – an earthquake
Una torre – a tower
Vacío – empty
Un microondas – a microwave
Correr – to run
Según – according to
Morir = fallecer – to die
Muertos = fallecidos – the dead

We then looked at superstitions in Spanish
Romper un espejo – to break a mirror
Una escalera – a ladder
Un trébol con 4 hojas – a four leafed clover
Un gato negro
Si te cae la sal – if the salt spills
El número trece
