We practiced the question
¿Para qué sirve? – What is it for?
Un tenedor sirve para comer
Una caja sirve para contener cosas
Un cortaúñas sirve para cortar uñas
Un mando a distancia sirve para apagar y encender aparatos electrónicos
Una vela sirve para iluminar un espacio

We also practiced saying what something was made of
Es de metal
Es de cartón – cardboard
Es de oro – it is gold
(es dorado – it is gold coloured)

We did a listening where we came across the following vocab
La oficina de objetos perdidos – the lost property office
Ha traído – he has brought
Una cartera – a wallet or folder
Un paraguas – an umbrella
Un mango – a handle
We also learned the following verbs
Perder – to lose
Buscar – to look for
Encontrar – to find

We then went on to learn the names of other objects on p.24

Un casco – a helmet
Un cortacésped – a lawnmower
Una silla de ruedas – a wheelchair

Auriculares – headphones
