ELEMENTARY COURSE, 2016, CLASS 3


We began by revising some expressions from last week.
¿Dónde has estado en España? – Where have you been in Spain?
He estado en …… - I have been in…….
¿Has comido ……? – have you eaten……?
(no) he comido……..
 
We also revised words for food…..
Los garbanzos – chickpeas
Las lentejas – lentils
Las albóndigas – meatballs
Las gambas – prawns
Los pimientos rellenos – stuffed peppers     
                   
Me gusta – I like it
Me gustan – I like them
Me gustó – I liked it
No me gusto – I didn´t like it

We went on to learn vocabulary for the area of Transport
La maleta – the suitcase
El avión – the airplane
El barco – the ship`/boat
La bicicleta (la bici) – the bicycle
La parada de autobuses – the bus-stop
La parada de taxis – the taxi Rank
El coche – the car
El equipaje – luggage
Un vuelo  - a flight
Una ida y vuelta  - a return ticket
Un retraso – a delay
El aeropuerto – an airport
Facturación – check in
Salidas - departures
El conductor – the driver

Viajar – to travel
Llegadas - arrivals
Hacer las maletas – to pack your bags
La puerta – the gate
La estación de trenes – the train station
Un billete – a ticket
Un viaje – a journey
La tarjeta de embarque – boarding pass
El anden – the platform
Hacer transbordo – to change trains

We also learned some useful expressions
¿puedo pagar con tarjeta de crédito? – can I pay with a credit card
En primera clase – in first class
Por supuesto – of course
