We began by revising the words for clothes...

La ropa – Clothes
Los pantalones – The trousers
La camiseta – the t-shirt
Los calcetines – the socks
La corbata – the tie
La falda – the skirt
Los zapatos – the shoes
La camisa – the shirt
El abrigo – the coat
Los (pantalones) vaqueros – the jeans
La chaqueta – the jacket
El vestido – The dress
El traje – the suit
La bufanda – the scarf
El cinturón – the belt
El sombrero – the hat
El suéter – the sweater
Las botas – The boots
Los guantes – the gloves
El bolso – the handbag
Las zapatillas de deporte – the trainers

We listened to a dialogue and we learnt new words and expressions:
Dependiente – Shop assistant
Cliente – Customer
Hola, quiero un vestido para mí – Hi, I’d like a dress for myself
¿Cómo lo quiere? – How would you like it?
¿Qué talla tiene? – What size are you?
La talla 38 – Size 10
Mire, tenemos estos modelos.– Look, we have these types
¿puedo probarme este? – Can I try on this one?
el probador está al fondo, –the fitting room is at the back,
¿Qué tal le queda? – How does it fit you?
Me queda bien - it fits me well

We also then went on to learn how to describe people
¿Cómo es él/ella? – What’s he/she like?
Él es bajo – He is short
Él es alto – He is tall
Él es gordo – He is fat
Él es delgado – He is thin
Él es viejo – He is old
Ella es joven – She is young
Ella es rubia – She is blond
Ella es morena – She has dark hair
Ella es pelirroja – She is ginger
Él es feo – He is ugly
Ella es guapa – She is pretty
Tiene los ojos verdes / marrones / azules – He/she has green / brown / blue eyes
Tiene el pelo largo / corto / rizado – He has long / short / curly hair
Lleva barba / gafas / bigote – He has a beard / glasses / moustache
