In this class we revised the verbs we use for talking about daily routine

levantarse - to get up - me levanto - I get up
empezar - to start - empiezo - I start
ducharse - to shower - me ducho - I shower
ir - to go - voy - I go
volver - to return - vuelvo - I return
acostarse - to go to bed - me acuesto - I go to bed
dormir - to sleep - duermo - I sleep

las comidas - meals
el desayuno - breakfast
el almuerzo/ la comida - lunch
la merienda - afternoon snack
la cena - dinner

desayunar - to have breakfast - desayuno - I have breakfast
almorzar - to have lunch - almuerzo - I have lunch
merendar - to have a snack - meriendo - I have a snack
cenar - to have dinner - ceno - I have dinner

We talked about our routines at the weekend
¿Tu rutina cambia el fin de semana? - Does your routine change at the weekend?
Mi rutina cambia un poco/mucho
limpiar - to clean - limpio - I clean
hacer ejercicio - to exercise
pasear  - to go for a walk
caminar - to walk
ver - to see or watch - veo, ves, ve, vemos, veis, ven.

we introduced some new verbs
afeitarse - to shave - me afeito - I shave
maquillarse - to put on makeup - me maquillo - I put on makeup
crema hidratante - moisturiser
crema del sol - sun cream

We then moved on to briefly talk about Spanish regions
Hay 17 comunidades - There are 17 communities (regions)
Hay 50 províncias - there are 50 provinces (within the communities)
Hay 1800 municipios - There are 1800 municipal councils (within the provinces)

Santiago está en Galicia
Sevilla está en Andalucía
It is important to remember that when talking about Where, we need to use Estar.
